The Hastifolia is different to the other Anubias because of its triangle shaped leaves. As these leaves curl, they can create a lovely effect. This variety is a slow grower but can grow to a fair size so is better suited to bigger aquaria.

A popular and hardy plant found in the tropical areas of Africa. Suitable for a wide range of conditions. Can be attached to hardscape by use of thread or glue. Melt may be experienced due to acclimation to different conditions, new leaves will form once settled. Do not plant the rhizome under substrate as this will cause rot to set in.

Notes:

  • If received in a pot, please remove all rock wool from the roots. Where possible we try and ship without pots or rockwool. Due to them being non-biodegradable we prefer to propagate in an environmentally conscious way.
  • CO2 will generally yield better growth rates.
  • Stable water conditions are a must, changes should occur over a period of time in order to reduce chances of melting etc.
