Description
The dwarf rasbora is a small, freshwater fish of the rasboras family. Endemic to Southeast Asia, dwarf rasboras grow up to 2.5-3cm and have vibrant, black dots across their bodies with a tinge of red. Mature males exhibit a brighter red coloration.
Dwarf rasboras are peaceful and timid fish that are best kept in groups of at least six to eight.
Acclimating fish:
- If received after 24-48 hours, slow drip acclimating fish to quarantine tank.
- If received after 2+ days, equalize water temp by floating bag. Try not to pour bag water into aquarium, drain over net externally and drop fish into quarantine tank.
